East End Volleyball will be hosting volleyball tournaments every Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through August 19/20. Memorial Day Weekend entry fee is only $10 per team. McAvoy Impresses in NHL Debut

19-year-old Long Beach native, Charlie McAvoy, logged over 24 minutes of ice time in his NHL debut for the Boston Bruins on Wednesday (4/12) night. McAvoy proved why he was the 14th overall pick in the 2016 draft as the Bruins earned a 2-1 victory of the Senators in Game 1 of the playoffs. Charlie McAvoy Signs 3yr Entry-Level Contract with Bruins (4/10)

“Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 10, that the team has signed Boston University defenseman Charlie McAvoy to a three-year entry-level contract, beginning with the 2016-17 season.
