Long Beach Summer Concert Series

LB Summer Concert Series 2017

Long Beach’s free summer concert series kicks off on Sunday July 3rd and runs through September 1st.

The popular series is free to residents and visitors and showcases a variety of musical entertainment.  This year’s schedule includes everything from classic rock to big band and will include iconic favorites such as Alive n’ Kickin and Risky Business, Tribute Bands including Cold Spring Harbor and Bon Journey, local bands like T’Bazco Road and Killer Joe, and a Karaoke Night on Friday, August 18th! The series will also feature many new acts.

The concerts are presented four nights a week at rotating beaches:  National Boulevard Beach on Mondays and Tuesdays; New York Avenue Beach on Wednesdays and Neptune Boulevard Beach on Thursdays. Larger concerts or special events concerts may take place on Long Beach Boulevard or Riverside Blvd. Make sure to mark your calendar for the Fireworks Extravaganza show on Friday, July 7th with music by classic party band New York Minute!

Pop’s Seafood Shack & Grill Season Opening (5/18)


A local favorite, Pop’s Seafood Shack & Grill, opens back up for the season on Thursday, May 18th. Located just across Reynold’s Channel in Island Park, Pop’s is a waterfront bar/restaurant with lots of outdoor space, indoor seating, private tables on the water for large groups, and best of all: food trucks! Pop’s will be open 7 days a week from May to September serving lunch, dinner, drinks and fun with live bands, DJs and dancing all summer long!

Pride on the Beach (6/9 – 6/11)


For 2017, Long Island Pride moves to Long Beach, NY, to become a three-day destination weekend, including numerous events, a pride market & fair, a concert on the beach, and the 27th Annual Long Island Pride Parade.
