From the Long Beach city website: “Building on the success of years past, there will be an unprecedented variety of food options on the beach and boardwalk this summer — three new food trucks have been added to the Shoregasboard Food Truck Market at Riverside Blvd and the Boardwalk — adding to the diverse array of cuisine, including healthy options, and enhancing the local flavor.
In addition to the Shoregasboard Food Truck Market there will also be the beach and boardwalk carts, and the boardwalk concession buildings, complete with restrooms. As you stroll down the boardwalk, you will notice great food & snack options at Grand, National, Edwards, Lincoln, and Pacific Blvds, as well a state-of-the-art surf center at Riverside Blvd. These concessions will be able to operate on the boardwalk throughout more of the year, helping to extend the beach season.”
A local favorite, Pop’s Seafood Shack & Grill, opens back up for the season on Thursday, May 18th. Located just across Reynold’s Channel in Island Park, Pop’s is a waterfront bar/restaurant with lots of outdoor space, indoor seating, private tables on the water for large groups, and best of all: food trucks! Pop’s will be open 7 days a week from May to September serving lunch, dinner, drinks and fun with live bands, DJs and dancing all summer long!
