We recently checked out Long Beach newcomer Wild Feast on Park Avenue between National and Edwards. The family-owned restaurant prides itself on fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers and fishermen.
The Lunch/Dinner menu features a variety of soups, salads, snacks, sandwiches, and seasonal specials. We dove in on the Crab and Mango Dumplings ($10), Shishito Peppers ($8), and Roasted Butternut Squash and Ginger ($8) for starters. Then we ordered the Grilled Montauk Monkfish ($11), Baja Fish Tacos ($12), and the Anson Mills Veggie Burger ($10) for dinner. The food was delightful and very reasonably priced.
The owners, Mirijana and Valentino, were incredibly friendly and said that they expect Wild Feast to be more of a grab-and-go eatery. They’re hoping to get their liquor license soon – which we’d also like to see. Check these guys out and support local business!
